Steering knock Noise

I have a slight knocking noise on my 182 when changing direction and dry steering.

Can anyone help and tell me what it could be?

Does it happen on full lock and over bumps etc ?

Possibly Top mounts knocking.

No it is on any lock when changing direction.
Doesn't make a noise at all when moving.
The noise is definatley underneath somewhere!

steering rack, mine had come loose causing it to knock when turning.

So how hard is it to sort out the steering rack?

check your track rod ends, most likely its them, shouldn't cost that much to fix. have a garage see to it if your unsure about it.
