Steering wheel 90 degrees off center

I finally need to get round to sorting this out as the MOT is due soon, its not just a case of getting it tracked or aligned as its to far out, like i say it around 90 degrees out of postion, im sure on clios that theres only 1 position, is this right ? so taking the wheel off to straighten it up wont work.

It all happened after i swapped the engine over so my guess would be somthing down in the engine bay on the steering rack, a guy told me quite a while ago but i cnt remember what he said it would be.
