Steering wheel alignment callibration

Basically I've had a few lights pop up on the dashboard and I believe its to do with this sensor as when you turn the car on no lights appear at all turn the steering wheel around half way I get ESP n SERV light show up so that's why I think this Reanualt also seem to think this aswell they said its needs putting on a machine they have to align n callibrate this and sort my problem. But being main dealer it's not cheap to have done so was wondering if anyone else knows a good place to go

Could it be worth taking the wheel off and making sure all the connections are okay?

I've had the steering wheel column apart today took all connections out etc this is how I found out what's causing the problem. Cheers mate il have a look at it but according to Renault it needs to be out on a clip machine I think it's called but il have a look at the link

Yeah this is the guide I've tried today was a big help but lights are still appearing

EDIT: just seen your post lol. can you get it to one of the traders on here? they'll be far cheaper than renault !

Hopefully but don't think any are local to me they all seem far away and the money of pay in petrol getting there I'd may aswell get Renault to do the job. Just being a cheap ass really save some money really

I dont want to hijack your thread mate but, since owning my 182 i have noticed that my steering wheel is facing slightly right when im going straight.

Does anyone know if its an easy fix to straighten it up?

Are there any how too's and what tools are needed?
