Steering Wheel and Gear Knob

Hi

Two things about my Clio 172 - I hate the steering wheel, looks worn out and need replacing. Also need a new gear knoob - anyone knows:

1. If a later model steering wheel can be fitted at all?

2. Can the gear knob be changed?

Gear knob, think so. I've ordered a new Renault one. Think the old one needs butchering off, hopefully the new one slips on OK. Steering wheel, only ones off Clios MK2 will fit (maybe older Meganes too). I'm going for a smaller aftermarket.
