Just tried googling it the Sabelt one, no luck! The Sparco wheel is 330mm in diemeter, waiting on a reply about the OMP one.

Sparco for me, looks less fussy.

Still, depends what the application is too - is this for a trackday car or just a tarted up road car?

It's just to tart up the interior a bit. My steering wheel is in good knick for its age (Y reg) so I thought I'd preserve it by removing it!

Hmm I would stick with a full fat one mate unless you're planning on stripping it and fitting buckets I dont think it would look all that great.
Plus one of the few benefits of owning a renault is their safety, it would be sensible to retain the airbag ;)

i have also heard something about cars which come with an airbag as standard would fail their mot if there is not an airbag present?

No it's not true, a car wont fail an MOT for having an airbag light on or missing an airbag where there should be one.
