Steering Wheel H/U Controls

Ive got an Alpine CDA7893R and the controls by the steering wheel are now useless.

Has anyone taken one of these off?

Will it leave a huge mess? i.e. is it better just to leave it on?

i took off mine, it leaves a nice big hole in the plastic, jus go to a scrappy and take one off another car, shouldnt charge u more than a fiver!

Im running the original controls on an alpine MD unit.

You just need a box and a lead from alpine, different combinations do different cars.
