Steering Wheel Is Torn....

Been having a few problems with my steering wheel, the rubber bit where ur hands go has been torn (previous owner) i went to renault to see if i could get it fixed/replace and are asking for over £300 for a new steering wheel, any one can help, gimme advice?? will try to post some pics later today to show the problem, thanks

Common problem.
New wheel or get to work with the superglue the inserts arn't availiable seperate.
Try breakers yards for a cheaper on if you want.

mine r the same, there must be a company that can make these thumb grips, one of mine have ripped off, the other is starting to come loose, they didnt even replace mine under warrenty!!!! gutted. i need to get mine sorted coz im selling my 182 soon. doh!

They will do it under warently its c ommon problem most dealers don't like bothering doing the work for the risk in Renault not paying up .

Or get the wheel retrimmed in alcantara like an M3 CSL.

im gettin mine done under warrenty....but it took alot of anger and revving the engine at the sliding doors lol...... go for a new wheel or a retrim ^^

I've a 172 steering wheel on the way that has a thumb-grip missing...

Thats what I'll be doing

It will be having that treatment to match my interior which is in the process of being done
