Steering wheel, MOT, airbag, madness ?

If my car has an airbag now but i want a new steering wheel (one without an airbag) will it fail MOT.

yeah its fine but you might need a resistor to put out the dash light

MOT needs a update. your car will fail if your rear reflecter is missing but if you remove a air bag it fine. i know which i would rather have in a accident. So i suspose my advice would be leave the safty device as it is.

whats the rules with a car fitted with an airbag as standard, but teh airbags gone off and then been cut off?

my mates done this on his saxo and cant afford to replace it yet but the mot is up tomorrow!

car doesnt need an airbag and the dash can be lit up like a xmas tree it will still pass. my last mot i had NO DASH still passed oh and no cat oooppps
