Steering wheel - too small?

  182 Cup
Opinions please guys - was thinking of changing my steering wheel to a 300mm one, I've been advised that this may be too small in everyday use. Anyone care to comment or got an opinion?

not sure what size the clio boat wheel is but 300 may be too small.

Hard to say without having driven one but my 320mm wheel was perfect IMO. 300 might be a little on the small side.

Too small as in the steering will become too direct and subtle inputs will be difficult? I can't quite get my head round this, I would have thought the smaller the better as long as the effort in turning the wheel isn't increased to the point where it becomes difficult?

Ive got a Sparco 300 and absolutely love it, I drive the car everyday.. IMO day to day driving is alot easier now as it doesn't feel like your driving a bus compared to the standard wheel, all movents are nice and subtle now!! Never really need to go more than 3/4 of a turn with the small wheel

The genuine Renaultsport Cup racer steering wheel is the most perfect one I've ever had - do a search on something like 'motorsport content' and there should be an old thread with a pic. Think it is about 320/330mm maybe?
