Steering wheel wobble @ 60mph+

Car  Clio 172 cup
Any ideas other than the obvious wheel balancing / tracking?

Just a bit concerned as it seems to be a fairly recent thing that's started happening all of a sudden.

My car's a 172 cup if that makes any difference.

It's due an M-O-T in a months time. If it was something serious like the driveshaft or something would this get picked up?

Another thing to add and this may be unrelated but my car seems to be handling really poorly as of late aswell. Understeering at every oppurtunity and the ride seems a bit bumpy aswell. Now the rear dampers went on me about 8 months ago, so logic tells me that the front's could be on their way out aswell. Could this all be related?

maybe, although we had an avensis with similar problem ended being a needle bearing in the driveshaft. i would get the wheels balanced first and go from there?

Actually my tyres are pretty low aswell and as I pointed out I'm due for an M-O-T. So obviously the balancing will get done once I replace them. Cheers lads.
