whats the best option for a worn wheel on a phase 1 172?

Theres a chap doing a stitch service in the marketplace section on here. Only other is a different wheel, which they're easily enought to swap over but are open to the melting problem again. Or aside from that an aftermarket wheel like OMP Corsica or Sparco Ring.

i dont think i can get in to that section with out paying the £10 fee
i think that would be good, if it could be recoverd thanks

i dont want to loose my air bag, so an aftermarker wheel is a no!

So you're happy to pay for the wheel to be recovered for >£100 but not willing to cough up £10 to access all the info that people have worked hard to provide?
