Steering Wheel

Just a quick question regarding a 2005 steering wheel with cruise control.
Im wanting to swap mine over with another one thats just been re-trimmed but i don't have a clue where to even start.

Can someone explain to me whats involved and what steps are needed to do this ?
The last thing i want to do is make a total c**t of this as i am no good at actually doing these things but better at paying money to get it done.

+1 I need to take off my cruise control buttons and have a look at why they might be acting screwy (have replaced the brake pedal switch and they're still not behaving).

Does the steering wheel have to come off, or can they be levered off from the front without damaging them?
