Clio 2001 Grande
I have a Kenwood kdc-6051U head unit and wanted the steering wheel controls to work so I bought this http://caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-connects2-ctsrn003-ctkenwoodlead_p-22344.htm.
I have connected everything apart from one part which needs to connect to the Head unit.
The picture below shows the end of the adapter which i need to plug into the head unit (picture 1)
The second picture shows a black connection, which I'm unsure of its purpose but I think this is where my adapter should plug into, however it doesn't fit.
The obvious thing to say would be my head unit isn't compatible with steering controls, however I checked the kenwood website which states it is http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/products/car/cd_receivers/cd/KDC-6051U/
any help is much appreciated.
