Hey all i changed my battery on sat and my stereo needs the code and not sure if i av the code. Will i av 2 go 2 renault and pay 2 get the code 4 it?

YES, unless it writen in your manual some where.

Cost you upto £15 depending on how will you know your dealer.

If you know the original supplying dealer, the should have it on record. When I purchased my 04 172 from Birkenhead, I live in Notts....It had a different head unit in, so I decided to sell the original but couldn't find the code. I rang Liverpool Renault and they happily supplied the code over the phone for free.
