my cable throttle isnt particularly smooth e.g when applying gentle pressure to the pedal, it doesnt just push down smoothly, it kinda feels like it gets stuck e.g can be doing 2.5k then apply slight pressure and it wont go any faster, bit more pressure and it gives and jumps to say 3.5k.
i had a look under the bonnet the other day after i felt the pedal was very high.
the inner plastic sheath of the cable had clearly come out of the black outer and was stopping the throttle arm moving when the pedal was pressed.
i know have to check this weekly as some quick aggressive driving moves it back even after i push it back into the oouter cover.
basically after writing my essay what i want to know is, has anyone else had this and also will it just need the cable changing?
