- Sticky brakes

  Gay Clio 172 phs1

Hey hey, I recently gutted my clios internal Bits and adjusted the rear bias valve, Since doing so the rear brakes are sticking. This is only slight but still enough to cause concern.

The car was unused for around 4-5 months, so i persume they would of seized although i have covered around 600 since the car was put back onto the road - (3rd Feb 2004)

Ive not really had chance to see what the problem is yet but i was wondering if anybody has a simular experience and how it was cured.

Thx in advance

Rex

How much did you adj the rear brakes?

Check the calipers and check the pistons to see if they are wound out too much or if the slides are sticky.

  172 cup,s2 rs turbo

adjusting the rear bias valve wont cause the brakes to bind/stick.check/clean up and grease all caliper and pad slides.
