Sticky Door Seal - Cleaning

I've recentely purchased a 54 Plate 182.

To cut a long story short; the drivers door plate (The one that says renaultsport), bottom of the inside of the door and seal itself must have had something sticky split onto it and now the door sometimes sticks to the seal when opening.

I've checked to see the seal is not damaged or anything.

Whats best to clean it with? I'm thinking some sort of bathroom cleaner??

Any Advice

could just be someone spilt coke or soemthing, soapy water to start with?

Soapy water should sort it, if not something like Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner

A bit of a weak post I know

Tried Soapy water....no joy, then flash wipes.... no joy

Found some swarfega hand wipes and it all came off a treat ! God knows what it was!

Made sure I washed it all off after with soapy water so hopefully no more sticky door!
