sticky/squeaky pedals

hiya guys my 172 seems to have a slight annoying problem. when im in traffic the clutch pedal seems to get a bit harder and develop a squeaky tendancy everytime i push it and the accelerator pedal seems to be a bit squeaky and sticky when i jus tap the throttle

and ideas guys?

New throttle cable and clutch cable will sort that I expect.

cheers dude thats one thing i forgot to ask you!!are they difficult to replace?as in isit do-able at home?
