Stolen dust caps... Anti theft dust caps any good?

Want to stop little f*****s robbing me.

2 went from one side. My mate who also had 2 stolen gave me his other 2 as they were the same dust caps.

I woke up today and the other side have gone..

Im guessing kids putting them on their bikes and stuff.

I remember at primary school, we got a better rep on which dust caps we had and how many.

Oh, and i know the normal ones are fine but i liked the ones i had

Sorry but I think fancy dust caps look naff. On a par with led washer jets.

These wernt bad, looked nice against the anthracite and the silver calipers and silver bullets. I dont put naff things on my car!

Nothing wrong with black plastic ones. What about those metal ones from Halfrauds that cost about £1.50?

had mine nicked aswell. just use black plastic ones then put shiney silver ones on when you goto a show/meet ?

My brothers got some of these richbrook on his and its funny wacthing kids trying to get them off for their bikes. One day he even went out and they run off but he shouted them back and said if you get them off ill give you all 4 and a fiver, they never tried again lets put it that way lol

Dont buy the metal ones!

I had a set of supposed "stainless steel" anti-theft dust caps off ebay...

And guess what? they rusted onto the valve, had to get 4 new valves fitted, stuck with plastic dusties ever since...

Little bit of copper grease will prevent this

I had 3 sets of metal ones all nicked within 2 months!

Bought some chrome Ripspeed anti-theft ones (looked the same).
And they've been on there since. (5 months)

Had the richbrooks on a previous car after my black ones disappeared. Looks good with silver alloys and had no probs for 12K. Im not putting them on 182 alloys....would look naff.

Watching a mechanic change my tire during a service he had them off in 2 seconds with his thumb. Holding the centre piece with your nail ftw.

i had a set off ebay didnt rust on but the grub screw rusted in and was a b**ch to get em off, they was never stolen tho and i had them on about 2yrs?
