Stone chips and the like

  Motorbikes
Guys,

Just had a brief look at this thread here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=327016 but it doesnt go into too much detail about the stone chips.

Basically, I have a few stone chips on my bonnet and front bumper. I have the touch up pen from Vauxhall, but a few question to be asked.

Do I need to clay the car first to strip wax etc?
Should I use an empty needle from Halfords, dip it into the pen and use that to build up each layer in each chip?
Once its touch dried, should I polish it smooth or whatever? (I dont have machine polisher so it would be done by hand locally)
Do you have to wet sand prior to applying the paint?

I'm a bit of a noob at removing stone chips, this is my first go, so any other advice would be appreciated!

Cheers!

Stone chips in the front bumper - like about 100 of them! :(

Not too deep, just leave like a little blip in the paintwork so when you wash/dry it snags your cloths. Any way of fixing these too?
