STOP light and handbrake light flickering

both the stop light and handbrake light are flickering on and off when going over bumps etc, thought it was possibly due to the brake fluid being low in the resevoir due to needing pads and disks but changed them today and its still doing it so im assiming its some sort of loose conection etc? checked the res btw and there is plenty fluid in there

I get this now and again when I go around long bends at speed. Like at some motorway junctions.

^ this guy has deffo solved the problem..... lol wtf

butler 205, that happened on my 172 when the rear disks and pads and front disks and pads were badly worn because the level of fluid had dropped in the resovouir. i thought this was the same problem but its got brand new front brakes on it!

yeh either worn pad levels or most common low brake fluid mate.
best to have a quick gander aswell as the oil.
quick lift and check.

the only reason they both come on is the brake fluid level i believe.

didnt change the oil tho

stopped after a week or so

and now have new discs and pads its not come on since

onlt seems to come on when i parked ona slope

Mine did this, needed a new alternator as my other one was fooked!
