STOP Light!

Hi,

Earlier I was cornering a tight left hand bend at about 60-65 and the STOP light flickered on. When I came out on to the straight, the light went out. Is this just a dodgy connection or is something wrong? This has never happened before and for the rest of the journey the car was fine.

Hope its not going to go all Ford on me and start cutting out on corners!

Common problem, theres a fair rew posts about it on the forum.

Check your oil and brake fluid levels, i topped mine up and its been fine ever since. Use to flash on going up steep hills as well as cornering.

The Oil is OK checked that on the weekend and the gauge is showing OK. Havent checked other fluid levels, will have a look.
