storing clio for the winter

  monaco 172
Im going to store my clio on the drive for the winter under a cover untill i can be bothered to take my box off and send it away to agency due to whining bearings.

Is there anything i should do to prep the car before hand?

Ie, hand brake off
should i jack it up to take some pressure off the springs shocks and tyres?
Run the fuel as low as possible so it doesnt go bad in the tank and pipes etc?

its only going to be for 6 months tops so it wont be stood for too long.

I store mine in a garage every winter, in fact it only moves 5 or 6 times a year

Leave handbrake off as they seize pretty easy, I'd also at least roll it back and forth every month to rotate the tyres and make sure the brakes haven't seized.
I like to start mine up each month too and just let it tick over till it's hot - get some fluid and oil circulating around and a bit of charge in the battery.
But other than that it'll be fine
