Straight Through Centre for KTEC / Janspeed Exhaust

Hello,

Don't know much about exhausts but I've currently got a KTR sports exhaust (silenced centre section) and I want to unsilence it. They sell the supersport unsilenced section for about £95 but is there a cheaper way to do it?

Can the silencer be taken out of the section I have or can an exhaust place just stick a generic section in for cheap?

It's possible to do on the cheap if you are handy with tools. Take the current centre section off and cut the silencer off, buy a straight 2.5" piece of pipe long enough and connect it up with something like this:
