Straight Through pipe

I am buying a straight thru pipe off a mate for my clio,as i had my clio lowered, and have cained my midbox countless times on speedbumps so i'm whacking on a straight through pipe.

Its only a 1.4 auto, 1 - will this add much power, and 2 - will it make the car sound really really loud? Bearing in mind i still have the standard exhaust on...

Doubt itl be any louder if you standard backbox and cat are still there.

And no it wont add any power

Yeah, but the insurance company isn't going to insure any modification that stops your car being road legal (if it's a road car, anyway)

It will add a small amount of power top end, you may lose some low down power though however
