hi i have ph2 172 which had dodgey speedo.It would work when it wanted to.Been told its either sensor in gearbox or its in rear abs ring.Well anyway i fitted a 2nd drivers drive shaft cos my inner rubber split and now my speedo has been working fine.could it have been the ring on the drive shaft that was broke

Speedo is supposed to come from one of the front wheels I forget which I think its elft but in reality it doesn't from memoery and all ABS sensor/rings have to be working
