Strange Exhaust Question

I was just cleaniing the tail pipes with the engine running. thenleft side gave out hot air and the drivers side was cooler almost cold. i thought they both would have given out the same. What would cause this?

Poor design is the issue.

yeah edde is right, something to do with the length of pipes or something i think
