Strange flat spot on 182

My 182 has seemed to have developed a flat spot when its in its warming up period.
What i find is that when i start it from cold i.e in the morning,it starts first time as usual but when i get to about 3000rpm mark it looses power briefly. It does this a couple of times then its fine and never misses a beat.
It hasn't thrown any error lights up on the dashboard so it would be sods law that if i took it to the Reno garage it wouldn't do it for them and make me look a burke!

The only things which the car has had done is a Magnex cat back zorst,i try to run it on optimax and at first i thought i might have had some dodgey fuel but i have filled up since then.

Any Thoughts?

My Mk2 172 does it to when it's cold, i think it's to do with the closed fuel loop managment system, and when it's warmed up never does it.

It sounds like its just the mapping it shouldn't be very noticable though.

Cheers for that,and i have got to admit that i have never heard any knocking on full lock or noises coming from the interior light Ha!

mind you better not speak toooo soon Lol
