strange noise coming from the clio

hi, just got back from a little drive with some friends, and as i turned the wheel right for a bend i noticed a squeaking noise coming from what seemed to be passenger side front wheel/suspension area. went around the round about at the top of my road at normal speed and the squeaking was there again. drove home and i have to go around a mini round about to then come back down to my house and at this low speed the squeaking was a lot louder than previous! it has squeaked previously on this particular round about but nothing compared to what it was earlier, just wondering if people have experienced this before and what has/is causing it as i want to get it fixed and its a bit concerning! thanks, joe.

was the pads on mine at one stage, they were a bit low and rattled to $*&^ as well, best is to pull the wheel off and have a snoop around ur brakes, suspension mounts, tie rod ends etc...

okay mate cheers. didnt squeak at all today so maybe it was becuse it had been driven a bit hard last night maybe? still did the usual squeak on the mini roundabout on my road but nothing else all day!

Does it sound like this?

Clio 182 Suspension Noise:

Could be the usual Clio top mount squeak where it catches in full lock. Is this a sport or not?

Both my 182FF and 172 cup did it and only on full lock. Nothing to worry about.

its a 182 with non-cup suspension. the noise is like something squeaking/grinding, thats hwat it sounds like to me. and because im not a mechanic and have literally no access to any tools or anything i cant actually diagnose this myself, but i took a friend out in it lastnight and he said it SOUNDED like the driveshaft, and ive seen on here that they are not so rare problem. its not a knocking noise, it literally sounds sheering/squaking/grinding all at once. sometimes alarmingly loud, sometimes not that loud, and sometimes it doesnt even make a sound! bit worrying haha
