Strange noise when driving

When I drive over 30mph the car makes a strange humming sort of noise and when i accelerate and slow down it sounds like a tube train?! Any idea as to what this is as its very annoying around 60mph! I know one of my wheel bearings need replacing could it be this although I am pretty sure its something different.

k cheers guys i am starting to get annoyed sounding like a tube train and a tractor at the same time.
