Strange problem

Hi We have a 1.4 16valve megane here with an enginge management light and gauge problem when driving engine man light comes on and gauges and mileometer go off for a split second and then come back on again intermittently can you help.

Sounds like a worn cable somewhere thats shorting. Might be a sensor though as i think a couple of 182's have had this.
