IIRC It should be a hard plastic carpet thing with sound deadening underneath with a round recess to allow room for the bigger spare wheel.

the cups have a more mdf feel to them. IIRC none of them were rubber. I think you could get rubber mats as an optional clio accessory but only sad geeky c***s bought them
