strange ticking noise, and slight revving on idle

noticed today when had my wipers on everytime the went a stange ticking noise was coming from the glovebox area any ideas?

also when stood at traffic occasionally on idle the rev needle bounces up and down 250rpm?

Ticking noise is normal mate. IIRC it's the relays from the computer that controls wipers/lights/locking etc. Can't mind the name of the computer though.

Ah right never really noticed it before had the car 7 month aswell :/ lol
