Strange wobble in 3rd at around 5,000rpm.

I noticed on my way up to Ipswich the other day, that when getting up to around 5,500 rpm in 3rd the steering felt a little strange, a slight wobble. So today i took her to ATS to have the tracking done, and they said that my tyres are on their way out, the tyres have only done just over 11K [Conti sport contact 2's]

Do you think it is just a case of worn tyres, or something else?

Get the tracking checked also check both engine mounts and suspension bushes etc.

12k for a set isn't that abnormal and it can make a difference.

^^^^Cheers edde. Had the tracking done today, so thats not the problem, will have a look at the engine mounts and suspension bushes at the weekend.
