Stripped ph2 172 suspension...

Pretty skittish on the rear now. Want it as a fast road car, will be doing a few track days but will need to do alot of day to day driving for now. Any help appreciated.

Mines completly stripped out and its on eibach sportlines and its fine, it does look high though. I've found if you keep the spare wheel in it helps with the weight distribution.

try and take as much weight from the front as possible to even it all out. I've stripped all carpets, sound deadening, rooflining, door cards and only have one seat.

Personally, i find it too soft but its a lot better than totally standard stuff, Im in the same boat at the moment... I did order a set of spax rsx but they were taking the piss with delivery so cancelled them. Ive been put off many times with the gaz stuff and i will be doing light track, B roads and the gaz gold stuff might be a bit of a handful.

Just been out in ryans turbo and hes running H&R's and i found them to be far too soft for me. So, maybe adjustable Koni dampers with Eibach springs would be suited to you. For me im not too sure if the height would be brought down enough

Take 2-3 psi out of the rear as an immediate fix. Makes a vast difference mate.

I ran 31 front, 27 rear with the back stripped.

Koni adjustables..... Don't hear of many ppl on here running them tbh. A case of buying the dampers then the springs or do they do a kit?

That's exactly what I did when I stripped out my rear and I actually felt I had more confidence with it stripped out on lower psi compared to normal.
