I've stripped the rear seats of my 172, but not the fronts I assumed Addz meant as he's got a Vee.

I got about 16kg on my bathroom scales for the rear seats, 2.5kg for isobar and plastic isobar cover, 1kg for boot carpet, 17kg for standard alloy and tyre, 6kg for wheel tool kit and 2kg for parcel shelf. So 44.5kg in all.

I think the front seats are about 25-30kg each, but I don't know for fact.

Cheers for that mate, well my 182 has no spare wheel so stripping might not be worth it?
