Stromba’s Williams get better

Just had the front shocks done on the Williams, and i know they take a bit of time to bed down (apparently) but the car feels a load better. Lots more stability. Well worth it.

Now ive had the shocks done front and rear, the car really feels all the bumps. Its become much more rattly, as everything is shaken to bits on the bumps. Not everyones cup of tea, but how it was designed i guess.

Who did you get to do the struts for you, how much did it cost and what did you replace?

Was gonna sell my Clio (as you know) but have decided to keep it and get it to how the factory intended it, thought the slack steering was just a williams thing as I tested 6 or 7 when I bought mine and they all did it! Want to do the whole suspension system to new spec, not because it is bad, I just want to know how good it was in all the reviews from the time when they were new!

Cheers in advance

i have posted something about how to get rid of that slack. renault engineers should be shot in the back for leaving that rubber damper joint in the steering column of a race car like the willy
