struggling on idle?

  DCI100
I've just done my headgasket and cambelt however on idle it seems to be struggling to pull like a bit lumpy :s pretty much 100% the timing is spot on (its simple in these) and we checked it a billion times a tech from work.

Any ideas? the car is a d7f 1.2 clio 8 valve

if it was fine before i would check ht leads first they can be easily damaged when you pull them off, coolant temperature sensor could cause a lumpy idle as well, does the engine rev ok?

Revs fine by the seems of it, I've drove it about 8 miles fine only done up to 3500 rpm but it had power and was smooth. Ht leads Nd spark plugs I Mau change as a matter of course tomorrow and see how it runs. The spark wasn't very good on when I checked it
