technically to benefit from a strut brace , it should be either fitted on top of the struts or welded / secured correctly .

im getting one cos im lowering my car even more to 60mm helps keep the struts stable and in position.

There only useful if

Yjere a gooid solid type

There fully bolted or welded to the shell

And the car has other suspension mods realy.

just added one to my phase 1. dont reckon its gonna do sod all. just looks good. its OMP one which is just held by two self tappin screws at each side.
tight on the bonnet closing now tho! little dink in bonnet when i shut it near the passenger washer jet. this isnt right??
hasnt dented it cos the dink goes when bonnet is open.

thats not right maybe you should re-allign your bonnet might solve the problem.

yes you might be able to lift your bonnet a couple of mill using the fixing bolts on the side you could try removinthe sound proofin dont tink that that will do it as its more likely to compress than dink your bonnet.

i just had a look. how do you adjust? i can only see the two nuts on underside of bonnet

put a couple of washers behind the nut heads should lift it about 3mm.
