Strut Braces, Are they worth it?

Yeh, generally they'll help the stability of the car. The stiftness at the front will allow the chassis to pivot a bit (Lift a rear inside rim) in turn this'll allow for a sharper turn in and a quicker lift out of bends...Although there's something about the fitting of the strut which is a little problem...(Drilling or something) i'm sure some1 can answer that. I'll eventually get one on mine. Don't hit any massive bumps or your windscreen could pop tho...unheard of tho.

I would only ever think about fitting one if I was a proper track *****. No way on earth would I otherwise drill through a body thats been dipped, dunked, coated, and sprayed to prevent corrosion. Long term I dont think a dab of silicon is going to prevent water/moisture penentrating the drilled holes and starting the rust process, especially in a bloody suspension turret.
I'm no expert though, thats just my thoughts on why I wouldnt fit one in my own car.

The turrets only provide a point to hold the damper top, so forces on it are off the compression of the damper only. The clio uses radius arms/trailing arms so all the forces are transferred to the torsion beam axle, which is bolted to the shell underneath.

Probably not worth it imo for something like a 182. Try it on a sack of Play-Doh like the Punto GT and the effect is amazing. Mine handled so much better after I fitted a front brace. Roundabouts were pleasant to drive around rather than a dodgy exercise in understeer...

there worth it, but some people on here a worried about drilling into the engine turrets because rust may set in over time.
but i know what you mean, my bro`s vrs handled a lot better and put the power down really well afterwards, obviously we have no concrete proof but we did before and after runs and we got 0.5 second faser to 60 so it helps if your car has monster torque that usually upsets the wheels and stresses the body.
