can anyone come up with a reason why a more expensive strut brace (say omp) would be better than a cheaper equivalent?????

cheers

Strut braces irrespective of cost do very little. You would be better spending your money on a whiteline rear anti roll bar.

i am aware that they do very little lol this is as well as :p

although am thinking of entering the road going hill climb and am not sure i ca get away with extra anti roll bars

as for front the ultra racing one looks good, quite how pointless is the rear one it must stiffen it up a bit. its a rear that i'm currently looking at. shortly followed by a front.

basically i have a list of parts and strut braces are next on the list

yer this would be in addition to the anti roll bar, but as stated earlier i'm not sure it'll pass for hill climbing

Not certain (need to check the blue book) but don't think you'd be allowed solid top mounts so the Pure Motorsport one would be out.

A strut brace will work provided there is need for extra rigidity there and that it is fixed appropriately, not with a couple of self tappers like a lot xD
