Hi all , first post and its a negative one for us, just gone to take the kids to the beach and the ignition key will only go in maybe half way, iv been and bought some wd40 to no avail and ringing Renault it's a 10 day wait for a new barrel,not so good when we gotta go home Sat morning back to Leicester, wondering if anyone has any ideas at all?? if you're goingto need new barrels anyway, can a screwdriver act as a make-shift key renault_Wolverhampton ?

depends you can always find a breaker thats got a barrell and key blade and do it that way

If I got hold of a new barrel I thought I needed to get the key to pos 2 to remove the barrel? Is that all I would need ie no computer parts or anything?? At this point a screwdriver seems the best plan...
