Stuck with an engine!

My clio is in gatting an engine swap done on it and i should be collecting it back soon,thing is im going to be stuck with the 1.4 lump that was originally there,dont have much room in my garage so just wondering if anybody knew what i could do with it?

Mate offered to buy it but only if it would fit in his mums mrk1 clio! anybody know about this to?

You could maybe try and flog it but doubt you would get much. Is it the 1.4 16v? How many miles on it?

Not particulary, would prefer a more worth while swap but if its low mileage and cheap enough who knows! Not like it would cost me any labour!!

TBH i'd just bin it as a 1.4 will be fairly worthless...on-one will sensibly buy it.

Next best option, strip the complete head off and stick it on ebay - that way you might catch someone with a cambelt snap and you won't have the same hassle of posting that you would with a complete engine.

Was only thinking of taking £200 for everything including the hubs and all that,it has only done 34500miles and was always serviced by Renault

Might do.. cheaper than a rebuild if they need one etc..
