Yeah i agree, is a touch over priced, but its has all the service history and he's just spent loads on it, it would suit someone whos after a 100% mint one.
I love E36s, and after co-shopping for one recently realised just how cheap they're going for.
None of the ones we saw were mint, infact there were a couple that just wouldn't sell as they were. 4-5k seems to be a good price for an Evo in good mechanical order.
Obviously with mint bodywork etc you'll get more as long as someone wants one.
