sub into renault cd player

is it possible to connect a sub into a standard renault cd player as found in the mk2 172?

any ideas?

Yeah, did active sub (with speaker level input) installation to my trunk. Stole signal from rear speakers. If sub does not accept high level, then u can use high to line(rca) level adapter.

yep i have a sub running with standard renualt cd player in my mk2 m8, if your sub has a built in amp its even easier to install!

Has it "high level" or "speaker level" input terminals, plug with wires on?

Connect them to your back speakers as if those terminals were another pair of speakers

Then just run the power/earth wires as usual with an amp
