SUB stopped working

Car  Fiat Panda 100hp
I dont know why, but on a junction this morning on the M1 the amp stopped working, I have checked all the connections and there all fine. But there is no power to the amp...any idears?

First thing Id check is the earth, make sure its 100% clean connection, no piant in the way. then the fuses as said

first of all bridge the remote with the power if it comes on you know its the remote connection causing the problem it still no power it will 100% be a blown fuse or bad earth perhaps the retaining bolt or nut you may be using has come loose if still no joy then your looking at amp failure;)

Non of the fusers have blown, I took the earth off and it seems a little wet, is this bad? will this stop the connection? Thanks for replies guys

have any wires been snagged, my wire to the sub is always getting pulled out when i go round corners with shopping in the boot.

yes the earth being wet is bad i would locate the source of the leak and resolve it immediately and perhaps reposition the earth;) being a mk1 if you have an external leak it will most probably be coming from the rear window seal try lifting up the inner edge and spraying some wd-40 to stop the water coming through also if you have a leak there the chances are your have rust under the seal aswell so the wd will pro long it, is the lower inner boot rusted at all?

Had the same a while back it must be the earth connection to the car. Also if wet, re-locate it and dry all connection points.

it was the main fuse that had gone, at 1st look didnt look like it, but then i opened it up and the glass tube had broke.

Any reason for this randomly happening?

an excess of current could be to do with how loud you have it playing and what your amp settings are and if at any point the earth has been broke of weak or maybe your just not using the correct value fuse are they agu fuses then?
