sulphur smell

hello i have a clio 1.4 16v and there this horrible smell of sulphur comming out of my exhaust! i can smell it from inside the car sometimes and it smells really bad. ive taking it down to renault and they said they couldnt find any faults but clearly there is cause i can smell it.
and also at a cold start when i tap the accelerator the rev drop and it stalls!

does anyone know what the problem might be???

I've heard somewhere it may be stuff in the fuel you use.

But that may be rubbish.

what do you mean by that. im currently using v-power should i try a different petrol?

V-power is probably best if its a bit funny will help clean the engine. Isn't a sulphur smell usually cat related?

most of my mates said it could be the CAT but ive taking it to renualt and they said it was fine and charged me £87 labour, so im not going back ,rip off

The big name garages usually do you an exhaust/CAT check for free.

overfue;ing can cause this? could be then becuase sometimes when i fuel up i liek to go past the click.
and no theres no lights

yes over fueling can cause it. the smell is the cat not working correctly.

Nothing to do with filling the tank up, i ment the engine overfueling
