Wasn't sure about what colour to go for with the wheels. I was in the wheel specialist for about an hour deciding, ha.

Yeah i noticed a nice looking clio screeching round the roundabout, lol.

Think i've seen yours buzzing about a bit. Tho do you get bored and change your wheels every wk'end? Seen it on white, then gold on this site - weren't they black last weekend?

The problem with black alloys is that once the tyres start to wear and fade, they bring the appearance and quality of the car down. Tyres should be black, so having black wheels highlights the wearing in the tyres more clearly. That's why anthracite works so well, as it's very rarely darker than the tyre black/grey.

Saying that, with a bit of tyre slick or new tyres, black alloys do look fantastic. The 182 looks great, too, mate

I do agree with Scutchs' comments above. When the tyres get a bit faded they do look VERY grey next to the alloys. But that's why i spend half my wages on tyre shine :approve:

Proper stealth car that one! I like it but wouldn't do that with mine.

I think if i had the money i'd have made like a sheep and got coilies and new wheels - f1's probably. But the cheaper option was eibachs and powdercoating. From what i'd seen on other cars 182 wheels look best in black. So that's what happened! And as i've said really happy with the way it looks.
