Sunroof and key FOB

Hey guys im new
just got myself a 1999 1.2 Clio RN with a manual sunroof and a key fob, now the key fob came with the car but doesn't work you press the button and nothing happens i changed the batteries in it but it still doesn't work got any idea on how to fix it ?? And then the sunroof, it leaks from the drivers corner not enough to drip on my head but enough to soak the interior so anyone got a step by step guide to taking the sunroof off and fixing the seal? any advice will be massively appreciated.

Not sure if its the same on the phase ones but check the fuse box. My key fob stopped working and it turned out to be a fuse, it was quite corroded on the pins but it looked alright so i just replaced it. Theres a guide in the members section, but its a pretty simple job, pretty easy to take off, clear off the old stuff some silicone around it and back on. Mines not leaked since!

My old 1.4 Rt had central locking but the fob was infra red. Meaning you had to aim the key through a window and towards the interior light which is where the sensor is.

ye ive tried the fuse box and its all fine and ye ive tried holding the key at the sensor when pressing it and it still doesn't work I rang Renault but they want £145 just to look at it to see what's wrong I don't think so some how and for the sunroof I think the leak is coming from where the hinges connect to the glass as when I pour water on the round discs that are on top of the sunroof water leaks in I'm going to most likely replace all the seals as well but hopefully its just this simple fix that will have done the job
