Sunroof problem

Hi there. I am new to Cliosport and need some assistance with a 2003 2door Dynamique. The sunroof closes and locks firmly but if it is opened it will not stay open properly. What is the best course? Renew the closure or can it be fixed in some way? Pls help. Jonno2.

Thanks for suggestion. Have you fitted a new handle to a sunroof? The sunroof is a very basic type it only opens by hinges from the front. Hope to hear from you. Jonno2

Nope, but you can pick them up fairly cheap. I do believe its the handle that locks it into place
